Digger

I have to admit I had some concerns when we first took Digger home - we've never really had such a high energy dog before - but they've pretty much all been put aside now. His training is getting to the point where we can use the hand signals or the voice commands now for sit and stay and he's responding well to commands outside!

We recently had a really bad bout with some windy weather and it pushed down one of our fences. The first time we let him out - we were unaware that the fence was down. He knows where his yard is and he doesn't go over to the neighbors for a visit. He did go over to investigate the fallen fence, but other than that - he has no interest in wandering.

He also has decided that his ultimate goal in life is to cuddle with us at night on the couch or beds. The other night he discovered he can snuggle under the covers and get warm. He's also discovered that if he wants in or out of a room - he can turn the door knobs. I haven't quite figured that out yet.

But I should go and feed him - he's giving me that look. I'll be sure to send along some photos for your book soon!

P.S.
Maybe it's him who has us trained to his satisfaction now??
